# OPPORTUNITY: AN INNOVATIVE SOCIAL NETWORK

**What if likes really meant something? In a landscape dominated by platforms that monetize user content without sharing the profits, the idea of an alternative social network emerges: a space where engagement translates into real value.**

This case study tells the story of developing a platform that revolutionizes the traditional model by rewarding active participation with transparent and sustainable compensation mechanisms. A social network where, finally, users also get to earn.

### An Exciting Challenge

The first step was to ensure a **hardware architecture** capable of supporting high traffic flows and scaling according to demand.

Meeting this requirement meant leveraging**multiple technologies**, each fine-tuned to the smallest detail.

The goal was to create a network of machines able to effectively handle computational loads and guarantee **robust performance** in the event of unexpected failures.

### User Experience and Mobile App: The Key to Opportunity’s Success

A social network also requires **targeted research** to make the visitor’s experience as **satisfying**and rewarding as possible. This, in fact, becomes a necessary requirement for the success of any project presented to the public, and we have been able to meet it through the use of the most modern technologies in the field of **user interface and user experience**.

But a good social network cannot exist without a **mobile app**. **Opportunity**included the development of a dedicated mobile app, built for iOS and Android and distributed free of charge through digital stores.

## **Rewarding Engagement: The Algorithmic Core of Opportunity**

Finally, the project featured the creation of a fully autonomous proprietary algorithm capable of evaluating the hundreds of actions users perform on the platform and rewarding the most active among them with monetary prizes.
